The repercussions of the discovery of a sharp device made of iron in Sırrı Süreyya Önder's vehicle continue. Önder's younger brother Ali Önder said, "We had no knowledge of the assassination device used on my brother's vehicle. He never told us about this when he was alive."
Önder said that he learned about the developments regarding the assassination attempt after his brother passed away. Ali Önder, who stated that Sırrı Süreyya Önder never offended anyone, upset anyone or had any hostility throughout his life, stated that the fact that the incident has not been solved until today is another issue.
Önder, who stated that the General Directorate of Security, the Ministry of Interior and the National Intelligence Organization are continuing their work on the issue, said, “Doğu Perinçek, who brought this issue to the agenda, spoke so that the microphones would be passed to him just to be on the agenda. The fact that the incident has not been resolved to date is another issue. According to the information we have obtained, the General Directorate of Security, the Ministry of Interior and the National Intelligence Organization are continuing their work on this issue. I hope that those who committed this incident will be identified as soon as possible and sentenced to the punishment they have solved.”
